Our City Cares’ original design 4” x 9” double-sided matte cardstock community care cards offer a curated list of resources in your local area. On the front the text reads, “National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Text or call: 988 988lifeline.org” In addition to the suicide prevention hotline there lists of medical providers, counseling services, and churches.

As of July 16, 2022, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be accessed by dialing 988. The current National Suicide Prevention Lifeline will still remain available by calling 1-800-273-8255, but experts say the new 988 three-digit code will be easier to remember during mental health emergencies.
